No. 64 Picchiography
“Lean”

This modern, impressionistic painting was made for Professor Dr. Horst Wildemann, of the Technical University of Munich, for his 60th Birthday. I admire Prof. Wildemann very much. During my time as CEO of an international operating group I asked him often for consulting. His teachings and his ideas are simple and pragmatic. As in my picchiography LEAN. - A few headlines say everything: “implement lean structures…”; “divide in autonomous segments…”; “no downsizing…”; “ costs to half…”; etc.
One can see, that by keeping sales, but reducing cost, the profit is continuously increasing. With these accumulated free cash-flows one can do a big step forward by taking in new products, conquer new markets or through acquisitions.
