The machining of steel is fascinating. During my years as a manager in an industrial plant, I was always fascinated by the perfection with which materials were formed and worked. I have started working on paintings with portray details of the manufacturing process of such machines. I call these paintings "art()work" – art(about)work. You will see turning, milling, grinding, etc. Pictures I have taken in various manufacturing plants, show an artistic view of these subjects. An aspect, which unfortunately is lost in the everyday working routine.
